Racing

The Directors passion for Jet boating extends beyond commercial operation. Director Shaun Kelly drives a marathon race boat, navigated by Mark Jackson and has participated in World Championships in NZ in 2001 and 1997, USA in 2000 and 1996, and Canada in 1999. Shaun Kelly and the team are currently preparing for the NZ Worlds in Queenstown this year.

Kawarau Jet also sponsors a Jet sprint boat, driven by Chris Munroe, which has participated in the World Series in NZ, Australia and USA
