Booking Conditions
All trips require minimum numbers. KJet reserves the right to cancel or postpone trips at its sole discretion and will refund the ticket purchase price if a trip is cancelled or postponed by us. All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST.
All passengers and their equipment are carried at their own risk. KJet take no responsibility for damage to property or equipment carried. To the extent permitted by law, all our liability for damage to your property is excluded. This exclusion is subject to any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
KJet manages the hazards of Jet boating on rivers at speed. For the safety and comfort of all passengers, you must listen and follow the instructions of your driver. Parents/guardians must also ensure children in their care do the same. KJet reserves the right to remove or refuse any passenger from participating if they do not comply, is deemed to be a nuisance, acts recklessly or is otherwise considered to be unsuitable to participate.
You must advise us if you have any medical/physical conditions that may be aggravated by participating in this activity or affect the enjoyment of your ride. KJet prohibits pregnant passengers from participating in the ride.
Cancellation & Amendment Policy
KJet reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to weather or unforeseen circumstances at any stage. In this case clients are given an option to rebook or receive a full refund.
No-shows, amendments, or cancellations within 24 hours of original booking departure are non-refundable. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of KJet Management.
24 hours’ notice is required for amendments and are permitted subject to availability and granted solely at discretion of KJet Management. Any difference in fare will need to be paid.
Ticket Delivery
Upon purchase of your ticket via the KJet website, a confirmation will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
Credit card fee when booking
If you choose to pay by credit card, a card payment fee of 2% will be added to your booking. To avoid paying this fee you can select the account2account payment method.
Children and Infants
Children are aged 5-14 years inclusive. Children must be accompanied by an adult to ride the Jet boat. Infants are aged 2-4 years and Jet boat for free with an accompanying adult. There must be one adult for every infant booked. Children under the age of 2 years are unable to ride KJet.
There is no height restriction to ride KJet. However, children must be able to fit into one of our life jackets.
Because we don’t have height or weight restrictions, the decision on whether the child can sit independently or sit on a guardians lap is subject to KJet staff discretion at the time of check-in. When sitting on a guardian’s lap, the guardians arms must be wrapped around the child, holding on to the handrail to help secure the child during the trip especially when the boat spins. The guardian has more control seated like this as opposed to the child sitting beside other passengers where there is more chance of movement during spins.
As well as the safety aspect, small children can see more during the trip in the elevated position of sitting on a knee.
KJET Standard Pricing
From 1 October 2023, KJet retail rate is $135 per adult, $69 per child and $307 for a family pack (2 adults + 2 children). Unless otherwise specified, prices are valid from 1 October 2023 until 30 September 2024 and may change without notice.
SAVE 10% at select departure times
Save 10% this summer at select KJet departure times. Discounted seats are limited and may not be available on all dates & times. Valid for direct bookings only between 1 March – 30 April 2024. Valid for travel between 1 March 2024 – 30 September 2024. Discount applicable on adult and child Jet boat fares only. Discount not valid on family packs or combos. Promotion may change or be removed without notice. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
KJET Remarkables Flyer (Jet Boat + Helicopter Trip)
Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters reserve the right to cancel or amend a trip due to weather or unforeseen circumstances at any stage. In this case clients are given an option to re-book or receive a full refund.
This combo requires a minimum of two people must be booked to confirm and Glacier Southern Lakes require 24 hours notice. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of Management. Prices are valid from 1 October 2023 until 30 September 2024 and may change without notice. At the time of booking customers are required to enter their weights in kilograms for helicopter loadings.
The Remarkables Flyer combo child age is 2 – 11 years. There is no infant rate for these combos.
This combo is currently only available for direct bookings.

KJET The Originals (Jet Boat + Bungy)
Prices are valid from 1 October 2023 until 30 September 2024 and may change without notice. This activity is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled time or if you miss the activity. Any changes within 48 hours will require a $50 administrative fee (payable to AJ Hackett Bungy) . If you would like to move your booking forward or discuss any other booking issues, feel free to give us a call on 0800 52 92 72.
Refunds for the Bungy portion of the combo will only be issued if weather prevents AJ Hackett from safely operating OR a person is deemed unable to Bungy Jump by their Jump Operations Crew for medical reasons. Minimum age to Bungy is 10 years old. Children 14 and under require an adult to sign consent at check-in and accompany them on their experience. To Bungy you must weigh between 35kg to 235kg. KJET Wine Sampler (Jet Boat + Wine Tour)
Combo requires a minimum of 2 adults to confirm booking.

KJET The Maverick (Jet Boat + Clay Target Sports)
KJet reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to weather or unforeseen circumstances at any stage. In this case clients are given an option to rebook or receive a full refund. No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of KJet Management.
Break One Clay Target Sports participants must be over 12 years of age and weigh around 50kgs, and be 1.5m tall. There is no child rate for this combo.
The confirmation of bookings will made upon the receipt of payment in full (unless other wise agreed).
For individual bookings Break One require that cancellations be made 24 hours prior to departure time. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged full price.
Break One Clay Target Sports reserves the right to cancel Shoots and Activities due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control. In these events, full refunds will be made or alternative dates offered.
This combo is available on request.
KJET + Milford Sound Combos
When booking KJet + Milford Sound Combos, you will be redirected to Southern Discoveries website to complete the booking. Once booked you will receive a booking confirmation and receipt from Southern Discoveries Ltd. TIME TRIPPER
Time Tripper price is $15 per adult and $8 per child.

Time Tripper reserves the right to cancel or postpone sessions at its sole discretion and will re-book or refund the ticket purchase price if a session is cancelled or postponed by us.
No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of Time Tripper Management.
The show is 14 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of underwater viewing.
Session times can be moved and re-booked if original date and time are no longer suitable. Please email your change request to: bookings@timetripper.co.nz.
The Time Tripper experience is not wheelchair accessible as it is 5 metres below the water and accessed by two flights of stairs, however if a caregiver is able to carry you down and up two flights of stairs you are most welcome to come down!
Child price applies for children aged 3-14 years inclusive. Infants 0 – 2 are free and may need to sit on a caregivers knee.
Check in 15 minutes prior to session.
We kindly request no filming and for mobile phones to be switched off during show reel. No food and drink permitted in the theatre.
When booked online, your booking confirmation will be emailed to you within 24 hours. If you have booked a combo, this will be confirmed within 24 hours.
Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Time Tripper booking does not include Jet boat trip.
Time Tripper is open Christmas day.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. No discounts apply. ID is required upon presentation of Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers cannot be on sold. Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months.
Conference & Incentive Cancellation & Amendment Policy
KJet reserves the authority to cancel or modify a trip due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen events at any point. Refunds for no-shows, amendments, or cancellations within 48 hours of the original booking departure are not applicable and are subject to the discretion of KJet Management.
In situations beyond our control, such as delays arising from customs processing for clients or traffic disruptions, we maintain the right to proceed with the trip as initially planned.
