HOW TO GET YOUR ADRENALINE FIX IN QUEENSTOWN

Want to get the heart racing and the pulse pumping? Looking for high octane things to do in Queenstown? Here are our picks of the top adventure activities in the resort!

Bungy Jump: The Kawarau Bridge is famously known as the world home of bungy, with entrepreneur A.J. Hackett opening the world’s first commercial bungy jumping venture, a 43m jump over the Kawarau River, off the historic Kawarau suspension bridge in 1988. Since then, the bungy team have been providing adrenaline fueled adventures to hundreds of thousands of thrill seekers. We’ve created our Originals combo – a 43m bungy jump at the Kawarau Bridge and a Jet boat trip with KJet, the world’s first Jet boating company.

Jet Boat: You can’t visit Queenstown without jumping on a Jet boat! 15,000 years ago, Lake Wakatipu was formed when a massive glacier pushed through the land and created the distinctive ‘S’ shaped lake.  KJet is the only Jet boat operator that offers full throttle trips across three waterways when you thunder across Lake Wakatipu, and dart down the mighty Shotover and Kawarau Rivers in our Big Yellow Twin Engine Jet boats.

Para-sailing: Get a bird’s eye view over Queenstown when you soar high above Lake Wakatipu, on a tandem flight with Queenstown Paraflights. You’ll be rewarded with 360 degree views over Queenstown in this adventure activity, as you soar 200 metres above New Zealand’s adventure capital.

iFly: All thrills don’t have to be outdoors! iFly is New Zealand’s only Indoor Skydiving centre and offers the incredible thrill of human flight, without having to jump out of a plane. You’re guided by your flight instructor when you take a leap of faith into the wall-to-wall cushion of air on which anyone can safely float.

World-renowned for our adventure activities, Queenstown is home to an epic range of adrenaline activities all guaranteed to get your blood pumping!
