Your guests are blasted down the Kawarau River, with 360° spins and remarkable views in one of our famous ‘Big Yellows’ then whisked across Lake Wakatipu into central Queenstown or dropped to your hotels private Jetty.
Our experienced conference & incentive/groups staff co-ordinate the airport meet and greet, and luggage transfer behind the scenes.
For those with limited time, it’s a great way to squeeze in an adventurous Jet boat activity during your visit to Queenstown.
The only Jet boat airport transfer available in New Zealand, KJet have the largest fleet in the country and can carry up to 120 guests at one time, with the flexibility to move larger groups on rotation.

Queenstown Marina
Our new reservations and retail centre is now open as a departure point for your tour groups and exclusive trips!
This fantastic new facility allows for flexibility with trip duration, pick up and drop off points and easy accessibility with ample parking.
The Queenstown Marina features 187 floating berths, 17 floating sheds, a breakwater, 156-space car park and will be home to future food and beverage outlets.
For groups coming out with us, this means:
A brand new, modern check-in and retail facility

Tour Groups & Exclusive Trips
KJet are proud to offer exclusive charters for small to large groups of up to 140 passengers, and are flexible with departure times and trip specifics.
We can tailor the tours for your itinerary and to your group’s desired thrill level – from mild to wild. From standard departures at the Main Town Pier and the Frankton Marina, through to our exclusive Willows Jetty or The Rees, Matakauri Lodge, The Hilton and Doubletree Hotels, we depart from a range of jetties on Lake Wakatipu, Shotover and Kawarau Rivers.
KJet also has a mobile Jetty for special group experiences in off-the-beaten track locations such as Tucker Beach. Our large fleet allows us the creativity and flexibility to create the optimum Jet boat adventure for your guests.

Health and Safety
Safety is of paramount importance to KJet. We aim to ensure that everyone enjoys their experience on the water and we meet the very highest of safety standards.
KJet operates under the national maritime governing body, Maritime New Zealand (MNZ), and undergoes Safe Operational Plan audits and inspections annually as part of MNZ’s Certificate of Compliance regulations. All our drivers require a minimum of 100 hours training and are subject to stringent vetting & licensing procedures.
Our fleet of both single & twin engine Mackraft Jet Boats have a capacity to hold 140 guests and are specifically designed for maximum performance, safety and passenger comfort.
KJet’s MNZ current Certificate of Compliance is available on request.
Educational Groups
KJet and Time Tripper have special offers for student and school groups and cater for students of all ages.
We can tailor a Jet boat trip to suit the desired thrill level and accommodate all itineraries. KJet is the perfect combination of adrenaline, scenery, and education! Our drivers are full of knowledge and history about the Queenstown area.
We can also incorporate learning on the mechanics of a Jet boat at our workshop as an additional arrangement. Please contact us for special student pricing and flexible departure times.
Time Tripper is located under Lake Wakatipu and is Queenstown’s only underwater experience! Here students can learn about the Māori legend of Lake Wakatipu and how the region was created starting 90 million years ago. Time Tripper is an educational state-of-the-art animated show that will take your students on a journey through time and legend.

We deliver the ultimate experience.
We work closely with local caterers and entertainers who set up on-site with us to engage with your guests.
Whether it be drinks and canapés, a BBQ lunch, a cooking master-class, or simply wine and cheese tasting, we can deliver this at our exclusive riverside location on the shores of the Kawarau River.
We’re proudly associated with Ned and his team at NZ Haka. They love welcoming guests to Queenstown and we can arrange an authentic New Zealand greeting upon arrival.

UNIQUE RIVERSIDE VENUE
KJet is excited to offer a unique riverside venue accessed by Jet boat or helicopter on the shores of the scenic Kawarau River. With capacity for up to 150 guests, our venue has been recently renovated with a brand new Jetty and a 10m x 10m deck complete with picnic tables and shade sails.
Imagine surprising your guests with a Jet boat trip across Lake Wakatipu and down the Kawarau River, delivering them to an exclusive unforgettable location.
Our unique venue has ample space for marquee set up and is surrounded by recently planted poplar trees, fresh new grass and mining relics adding a touch of history.
Suppliers are able to access the venue prior to the big day with road access by 4WD (Coach access unavailable). Power to the site is from generators only.
KJet Jet boat operational hours are 8am – 8pm in summer.
